Name: Cillian Harvey Jude
Age: 40
Birthday: Feburary 19, 1969
Preference: None (Catholic Priest)
Brief Background:
Cillian Harvey Jude was born to Michael and Kelsey Jude in Junction Grove, Chicago, Illinois. He is the eldest of three siblings; Jacob, four years younger than he, Lena, six years younger than he, and Lauren, nine years younger than he. His mother worked long hours as a nurse and his father as a factory worker.
Cillian moved from his family home at age sixteen after having switched to an alternative school his freshman year in high school and completed his education early. He spent the next year in South Dakota growing and distributing melons and the following two years in Colorado at a horse ranch where he began as a stable boy and, by the time he left, was breaking horses and teaching riding classes. He returned to Chicago when he got word that his father's alcoholism had driven him to an early grave and found work in the city to support his family by taking odd jobs such as being a stage hand and lighting electrician, cooking, selling weed, delivering newspapers, and general maintenance. While in Chicago he attended college and received a degree in social work. However, Cililan never used this degree and had completed his education, once again, early because of his attendance of summer school and winter courses. He, instead, accepted a friend's offer to be an electrician at an off-off broadway production company in New York. Cillian left his family with his father's death paid for and extra money so that they may continue without extreme financial difficulty, such as his work and student grants allowed. He, himself, did not mind a hand to mouth life style and found himself in such a situation in New York where he and actors of the same company found themselves living in the basement of their small theatre. He remained in New York for three years, enrolling again in college and, again, taking summer and winter courses to finish early with a degree in theatre.
Cillian had an abrupt spiritual awakening and decided the next step in his life would be seminary school. Looking for a change, he traveled to Louisanna and enrolled in Notre Dame seminary school. In New Orleans he encountered voodoo and the occult and quickly decided that the calling was no mistake; that he was brought to New Orleans for a reason; to change lives disrupted by demons whether they took form in body, in drugs, in thought, or in action. He did extensive work in Barataria Bay and confirmed the rumour of pirates still in action under the cloak of night. It was here, as well, that he became, himself, involved with the occult. His first exorcism was in Barataria and word quickly spread of his work. He was called to exorcise two more demons before the church caught up to him and scolded him for performing without direct permission. Cillian stopped this work for a brief period, but, under requests that were otherwise ignored by clergy, he felt the need to continue work, responding to calls from all around the country. He gave up this work as his parish began to become disrupted and the church was lifting their heads again in question to his frequent 'vacations', though the work in Barataria Bay was enough in itself. As a consequence of being in the area and having knowledge through confessional and otherwise, Cillian began to be followed by gang members and watched by pirates as they knew of how knowledgable he was of their work. Their apparent approval of his work and his honest oath of secrecy was demonstrated as they covered a murder which he had been sloppy enough to leave evidence at. Much as he would not allow demons to possess innocent lives, he would not let innocent continue to be abused after their abusers were so warned that their actions were ungod-like. Working with the nearby New Orleans and other close districts, he eliminated from the crowd three parishioners and five community members. In this time of his service, in addition to taking care of issues resulting out of voodoo and the occult and regular, every-day church needs, he also made frequent missionary trips with his parish to Haiti to help build schools and plant farms. These trips also allowed him to respond to spiritual needs resulting from the occult. Missionary trips were also made to China to distribute underground Bibles; no alternative motives were in the works for these trips.
Things went relatively smoothly for Cillian until one of these abusers he decided to take care of happened to be someone important within the local gang. Cillian was warned to leave, least he be unable to continue his virtuous work. Taking serious the warning, he indeed left. In pursuit to continue doing mankind good, he applied to St. Davids where he hoped that he could correct in children the behaviours that would otherwise leave blood on his hands.
Brief Personality:
While not the most friendly person, Cillian can be pleasant when called for. However, when it comes down to spiritual talk and action, he can also be very severe in his judgment and will generally be honest before sparing a persons feelings.
